The Buddy List of client 7.5 and higher is saved in different format.

Notes 7.0.1 is using C++ client, and the UIM 7.5 client is eclipse based Java application. Java client keeps its buddy list in XML format in different attribute in vpuserinfo.nsf

Your buddy lists will not be synchorized before Notes 8
